UN Human Rights Council’s Universal Periodic Review (UPR) Process and Stakeholders Reports

KMCP through Pax Romana-ICMICA (International) has actively been involved in the UN Human Rights Council’s Universal Periodic Review (UPR) process. Consequently, Pax Romana - ICMICA (International) through its Kenyan Chapter Kenya Movement of Catholic Professionals in collaboration with Edmund Rice Advocacy Network (ERAN), Franciscans International (FI) and other 21 Civil Society Organizations conducted a 5 days training workshop in the area of human rights, with special focus on UPR.
The training’s participants included Catholic Professionals and members of the Civil Society Organizations in Kenya in addition to participants from Uganda, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.
The workshop produced two reports; a stakeholder’s report that was submitted to the UN Human Rights Council and a process report that documented the entire process. KMCP has since published the two reports in booklets to be distributed to all stakeholders. You may click on the links below to download a PDF version of the published reports.
